Massage affects more than merely the skin and muscles of the body. it also affects how we organize our past, experience our present, and anticipate our future. Massage impacts our entire nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, visceral and puerperal nerves, as well as fluid systems that carry psychologically active biochemicals, all of which help us to organize our interpretation ourselves, others and the world.

My current practice has a lot to do with my backgrounds. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, a Masters in Emotional Intelligence and a Diploma in Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse.

When I decided to Study Massage Therapy and Jikiden Reiki, my decision was done thinking about helping people to gain Body-Mind-Spirit balance in their lives as much as in my own. It is been proven that our minds cannot be good if our body suffers an illness or if we are afraid of life. In the same way our emotions affect the structure of our body: if we are constantly depress our posture changes and over time our body adopts the share, affecting not only our appearance but also different systems in our body.
Massage Therapy & Reiki are wonderful opportunities to be with ourselves, to stay quiet and just receive, but most of us are unaware of its potential. After a Massage & Reiki session you feel calmer, sleep better, have more flexibility, your mood and relationships improve and it may also affect your productivity at work. Putting it simply, they can have a very deep positive effects on those who choose to make a commitment with theirselves and work on their self-care regularly.
